Hey guys. ive been wanting to get back into drawing and animation again and i need help finding my style i want to work on. i just like so many but i want something that's recognizable as me and something that i like. im scared ill look like a copycat if i say my work is "inspired by X" all the time ya know? Its a deep rooted philosophical issue right now. Like, should i care if people thing im some sort of copycat wanabe if i find something i want to impersonate or should i try and go 100% original (this is a lot harder than most people realize) where do i go? where do i start. i know i have potential bit i need some a little kickstart to get up and going. Thanks for reading!

I know how you feel bud. Most of my art is based on models made by other people.
I don't really worry about what other people think, whether they think I'm a copycat or not.
They just don't have the talent to recreate something is what I think. But practicing with ALL kinds of artwork could help you come up with your own art style. You could also just doodle every once in a while and go all out. Just go crazy, and you might find something worth drawing again. You could also take say your friend's art style and change it up a little. There are a lot of ways to find your own distinct art style! But if you need any extra guidance, I could help you.
Hope this help! :D
